Our family has adopted dogs for as long as we can remember. And each of those dogs became of huge part of our family, a part of our story, and our history. They each brought something exceptional and special into our lives. Each of our dogs have their own unique story, a life they had before they came to us, and the best life once they joined our family. It has been and still is an incredible journey filled with love and memories that will last a lifetime.
With that being said, we would like to introduce the inspiration behind our company and the reason for creating our feather accessories.

PALMER
Palmer (Stacey’s Dog) - Palmer is such a smart, devoted spoiled mama’s boy. He came into my life when I needed him most. If you have ever felt like someone was put on this earth just for you, this is the way I feel about my dog. He was born into a puppy mill and then put up for adoption through a local shelter. Prior to this, I was sure that I did not want a dog, but for some reason on that particular day, I was drawn to the local shelter. He was just a tiny puppy and I knew he was meant to be my little best friend and I was meant to be his. After I brought him home, I found out that he was actually sick with giardia, Giardia is not a common thing that is checked for. It is a parasite that can severely hurt or kill an animal if not treated. Had I not brought him home, he possibly would have gotten sicker and possibly not have made it. I thank God for Palmer every day and that I was able to bring him to a safe and loving home. He is the bright spot in my life and such a joy. He is forever my best friend and for that I am grateful.
COCONUT
Coconut (Gail’s Dog) - I went to PetSmart to buy dog food and they happened to be holding a doggie adoption day. I saw a sad, skinny, pathetic looking dog who was very sick and had kennel cough. I had an old dog at home whom was not doing well and was concerned about him getting ill if I brought a sick dog home. I asked to see her anyway and immediately knew I had to bring her home. Coconut’s back story is that she was rescued from a hoarding house in Georgia where she was starved and kept in a cage for the first year of her life. They removed her from the home and put her in the pound up there until she was rescued and transferred to Pet Alliance and brought to Orlando. Within two days this poor little dog was spayed and put up for adoption. I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to meet her and bring her home. And now she is my little princess.
MAZIE
Mazie (Stacey’s Dog) - Mazie is goofy, loving, and such a sweet dog. She. She is big hearted and just craves love and affection. She was the new addition to our family. My mom and I were supposed to go to a PetSmart in another county but ran out of time. At the last minute, I had said let’s just stop at this local PetSmart. We walked in and they were holding an adoption event. I saw Mazie and she was so sweet and I was instantly drawn to her. I went back and forth about getting her because Palmer had been an only dog for 5 years and doesn’t really like to share me with anyone. So, I just wasn’t sure how it would affect the dynamic of our home. It really didn’t take much convincing; I had already made up my mind and brought her home. Mazie’s story is that she was found on the side of the road in Jacksonville, held at the pound there and then brought to a rescue group in Orlando. I am sure that whoever had her prior to me had abused her. She has become Palmer’s best friend and has completed our “family”. I know she is just as grateful for us as we are for her.
I truly believe both of my dogs were meant to be a part of my family. There is absolutely no question about that.
BANDIT
Bandit (Gail’s Dog) - He was brought back to pet alliance twice by two different families. The first families reason was "he didn't get along with their other dog." The second families reason was "they were moving and couldn't have a dog at the new apt." He spent the first year of his life unwanted and unloved. My daughter and I in a whim stopped by at pet alliance to see if we could find a friend for coconut. And we brought Bandit home, my husband instantly connected with him and they have been best friends ever since.
